Nugget & The Tree Tunnels

Is there anything more magical than walking through a perfect canopy of the most beautiful flowers? It doesn't matter if they were formed through the grace of nature or sculpted by the hands of inspired gardeners. They are nothing short of being both beautiful and enchanting.

GYENOGHWA STATION, JINHAE
For me, Japan is synonymous with sakuras, commonly known as cherry blossoms and to experience a tunnels of them would be amazing. The Gyeonghwa Station in South Korea is one of the top spots to take photos of this pale pink ocean in Jinhae.

TUNNEL OF LOVE, KLEVAN
The Tunnel of Love is found on the outskirts of a little town in Ukraine, Klevan where a private railway track became overgrown by green arches. It is a very popular spot for couples to take photographs mainly due to its name and an interesting legend. It is believed that any wish of someone in love, made while walking through the tunnel will come true. I need to take a walk there, I have some wishes that I need to come true.

JACARANDAS WALK, JOHANNESBURG
A purple paradise comes to life each Spring as thousands of jacaranda trees bloom above suburban streets of Johannesburg, South Africa. Over one hundred years ago, these trees were imported from South America and planted along the sidewalks of developing areas to become the beautiful forest it is today.

LABURNUM TUNNEL, WALES
The most popular feature of the Bodnant Garden of Wales is the artificial tunnel of beautiful laburnum flowers. When in bloom, it entirely covers the arch and forms a beautiful canopy, similar to that of the wisteria tunnel.

Nugget & The Mountains

As a child,  when you were taught to draw a mountain, it was always some form of an inverted triangle with a rounded top. Drawing a flat-top mountain or multiple pillars would definitely be considered incorrect in art class. However, these mountains prove otherwise. CAPPADOCIA, ANCIENT REGION OF ANATOLIA Cappadocia is a historical region which lies in the plateau of central Anatolia, Turkey. It's most amazing feature is the unique chimney fairy rocks which were formed by volcanic eruptions and erosion which shaped the pillars. Humans burrowed into these chimneys and made it their own, building underground cities which I’d like to venture into, just for curiosity's sake. Although I’m fascinated by these structures, I don’t want to see them from standing on the ground. I’ve never been hot air ballooning and the thought of floating in the air always seems scary, but with the amazing view of the Cappadocia landscape, I’ll be willing too.   UNESCO World Heritage Site ...

Nugget & The Beaches

If I asked you to picture the perfect beach , most of you might paint a scenery of a strip of white soft sand dotted with lush palm trees, crystal clear blue waters with gently rolling waves, all framed by a beautiful landscape. These bucket list beaches offer something a little bit different. PINK SAND BEACH, HARBOUR ISLAND No soft white strip of sand here, but Pink Sand Beach of Harbour Island, Bahamas , is the place to go to for natural beauty of pink sands and calm blue waters which extends for 3 miles . The waters are ideal for swimming and relaxing as the harsh waves are blocked by the surrounding coral reefs . The sand itself consists of broken corals, shells, rocks and calcium carbonate but it's pink colour comes from shell colour of microscopic shelled animals . Although it isn't the only pink beach in the world, it is definitely one of the most beautiful , perfect location for a vacation. Click here for info on more pink beaches . Nugget & The Cathedrals

Cathedrals are wonders of architecture which stores exquisite treasures, hidden secrets and rich histories, each unique in its own right. DUOMO DI MILANO, MILAN "...an anthem sung in stone, a poem wrought in marble... They say that the Cathedral of Milan is second only to St. Peter's at Rome. I cannot understand how it can be second to anything made by human hands "    Twain, 1869.  I've never seen a structure more beautiful than the Duomo cathedral. This majestic beauty appears to be fit for royalty, for a King of the highest esteem. If I can't see any other cathedral on my list, I must see at least this one. One of my favourite feature is that visitors have access to the roof, where I'd willingly climb stairs just to enjoy that breathtaking view across Milan and examine the exquisite detail of the sculptures which crowns the structure. This artistic monument was officially started in 1386 and took thousand of workers over approximately 6 centuries of ...

Nugget & The Pink Lakes

You thought the lakes on  Nugget & The Surreal Lakes  were bizarre? Well take a look at these lakes.  They're Pink ! Permanently and entirely pink lakes! The unique beauty of these lakes has made them top tourist attractions and visitors fly from all over the world to witness these phenomena firsthand. PINK LAGOON, MEXICO First up - Pink Lagoon,   Mexico.  This natural pink wonder   adorns the tiny fishing village of  Las Coloradas , Mexico. The mesmerising beauty is framed by  crystal-like white salt  and is one of the most photographed pink lakes in the world. The shallow lagoon's  beautiful colour  comes from the chemicals released by an abundance of  red plankton  and  brine shrimp . As the sun evaporates the salty waters, the remains are fresh sea salt which has made the area famous for its  salt mining  since the rule of the Mayan Empire to present.
