Nugget & The Tree Tunnels

Is there anything more magical than walking through a perfect canopy of the most beautiful flowers? It doesn't matter if they were formed through the grace of nature or sculpted by the hands of inspired gardeners. They are nothing short of being both beautiful and enchanting.

GYENOGHWA STATION, JINHAE
For me, Japan is synonymous with sakuras, commonly known as cherry blossoms and to experience a tunnels of them would be amazing. The Gyeonghwa Station in South Korea is one of the top spots to take photos of this pale pink ocean in Jinhae.

TUNNEL OF LOVE, KLEVAN
The Tunnel of Love is found on the outskirts of a little town in Ukraine, Klevan where a private railway track became overgrown by green arches. It is a very popular spot for couples to take photographs mainly due to its name and an interesting legend. It is believed that any wish of someone in love, made while walking through the tunnel will come true. I need to take a walk there, I have some wishes that I need to come true.

JACARANDAS WALK, JOHANNESBURG
A purple paradise comes to life each Spring as thousands of jacaranda trees bloom above suburban streets of Johannesburg, South Africa. Over one hundred years ago, these trees were imported from South America and planted along the sidewalks of developing areas to become the beautiful forest it is today.

LABURNUM TUNNEL, WALES
The most popular feature of the Bodnant Garden of Wales is the artificial tunnel of beautiful laburnum flowers. When in bloom, it entirely covers the arch and forms a beautiful canopy, similar to that of the wisteria tunnel.

Nugget & The Flower Fields

A post for the plant lovers, the landscape lovers, those who just love to appreciate the beauty of nature and most importantly, for the tea lovers. Here are some of the most unbelievably flower fields around the world. LAVENDER FIELDS, UK The British countryside is home to some of the most beautiful lavender fields , just look at those shades of lavender in the pictures below. These fields are maybe the most photogenic ones I've even seen and I'm ever in the UK, I'm definitely visiting and there's lots to choose from. The Lavender farm are usually in full bloom from June to August and my favourite thing bout them is, tourists like myself, are free to walk through and tour the facilities. There's even a nice gift shop that I need to go to because who doesn't love the scent of lavender? Nugget & The Seawater Swimming Pools

What's your biggest fear about bathing at the beach? Mine is being swept away by the waves...actually no, that's not true, #1 fear is definitely being bitten or eaten by a shark; I've seen Jaws. But being swept away is definitely fear #2 which is why I love these pools. Seawater swimming pools are rock pools formed by the forces of nature or even man made and are usually located near coastlines . GIOLA LAGOON, THASSOS This beautiful swimming pool was carved into the rocks of Thassos by nature to form the most exquisite seaside swimming pool. The turquoise pool is found near Astris on the island of  Thassos , Greece and is separated from the Aegean Sea by a strip of rock. Diving from the terraced shaped rocks is the only method to access the pool. Thee pool measures approximately 20 meters wide and the rocks are 8 meters from the water surface. According to legend, Giola was the eye of Zeus which he used to watch over. Photo credit: htt...

Nugget & The Surreal Lakes

When you think of a lake, you might just think of a still mass of water, possibly laden with crocodiles and other unfriendly creatures but these lakes are so phenomenal. They're amazing for bathing, sightseeing, diving, playing or just to go to for a moment to appreciate the beauty of this world that we sometimes too often take for granted. DEAD SEA, ISRAEL Who ever thought the something called the Dead Sea could be so breathtakingly beautiful. The Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth , but the most remarkable thing about it is that it is impossible to sink when floating because the salt density is so high, almost ten times saltier than the ocean. The water is also believed to have healing properties for skin issues.  However, due to this hypersalination , no fish can survive in the water which removes the fear of creatures touching my toes while I'm in the water. Ironically, people have drowned in the Dead Sea because they disobey the one rule of floating there, on...

Nugget & The Travertine Terraces

The best J acuzzis aren't found in the fanciest hotels or the most exquisite homes, but rather, they were crafted and sustained by nature itself. These hot spring terraces have been around for many years, providing  luxurious baths for all visitors and today, they are top tourist destinations around the world. PAMUKKALE, TURKEY Literally meaning " cotton castle " in Turkish, Pamukkale is located in the Denizli Province of Southwestern Turkey . Its name was derived from the shimmering , snowy-white limestone surface which were shaped into calcium-rich hot springs. These springs are some of the most beautiful and photogenic in the world and judging by pictures, I can see why. There are 17 hot spring travertine terraces in which bathing is permitted; bathing is allowed - my favourite thing about here.  Photo credit: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/419749627760761453/ CLIFFSIDE POOLS, MEXICO The Las Grutas de Tolantongo is a natural spa resort and box canyon ...

Nugget & Europe

My top places to visit in Europe - Greece, France, Italy and Switzerland. SANTORINI Before I begin, please watch the video below. There's just something magical about it; the way it captures the beauty of Santorini that makes my words fail. If You're already not in love with Santorini, I guarantee that video will make you. I was hoping to find a video that captures my love for Santorini, and it does it so amazingly; the combination of the music with the scences are beyond perfection . This place has my heart and I've never even been there. Maybe it's Oia with it's cascading whitewashed buildings carved into the cliffs, the hues of sapphire water, the gleaming houses or the phenomenal , yet calming, scenry. It seems like a place your soul can go to rest and one day, I'll get there.   Photo credit: foundtheworld.com THE FRENCH RIVIERA CΓ΄te d'Azur , also know as The French Riviera; where do I want to go?
